Orchard School Math Tutorial Program
when: Saturdays, , 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
where: Orchard School Building D
921 Fox Lane, San Jose, CA rsvp: Richard Chi, rchi@rchilaw.com,
Orchard School students (3rd to 8th grades) have been identified by their school teachers as needing additional help in math. Over the past few years, volunteers in this program have provided small group tutoring sessions to these students every Saturday during the academic year to help them catch up with their peers and gain confidence and interest in math. You do not need to have math skills beyond basic algebra to teach the students. The only requirements for our volunteers are proficiency in English and a desire to help out the students!
